Depression and anxiety are the most common problems spotted in the adults. Depression is mainly the feeling of extreme sadness constantly. There could be mild or severe depression depending on the situation of the individual. Anxiety is the state of constant worry and fear for different things, which eventually disrupts the everyday work of the individual. Eating disorders and substance abuse are relatively less common. Eating disorders are mainly due to name calling when the individual is under or overweight. He starts feeling a lot of emotions around food, weight, body image discussions and also includes binge eating. Substance abuse is when the people start depending on gambling, drinking, and drugs for pleasure to the point that their everyday and personal life start getting affected. As for the attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD) it is more common in children but adults have it too.

Psychiatric disorders are not given proper attention and recognition. However, it is essential that the society starts accepting the presence of mental illnesses in majority of the individuals including both children and adults. Only awareness can make the world a better place for the victims/fighters and maybe, reduce the rate of deaths causes due to an unstable mind.
